Architecture Integrity

The detail starts at the cobblestone walkway. You will notice the cast stone base. Just as powerful as the limestone used in the centuries old buildings in France. At the top of the cast stone there is a water table as it meets the brick. The horizontal brick string course meets another water table as it reaches the roof deck. Ornamental downspouts and gutters further enhance the exterior. On top of the parapet wall of the roof terrace you will find capstone and finally an octagonal chimney element. The windows will all have metal and cast stone details.

Place des Vosges combines old world and modernism in a clean design, punctuated with sophisticated ornamentation.
